Mr. Harper has done a great job of building his reputation. People will not forget all the key aspects of his reputation. 1. A terrible team builder. He has an extremely weak cabinet, where most cabinet ministers are out of their depth. 2. Poor policy decisions. Cutting the GST, which was bad tax policy. 3. Next to zero credibility. The November 2008 Economic Update fiasco was unforgivable. 4 He shows no respect for Canadians. His comments in the days following the Economic Update and on December 4, 2008 insulted all Canadians. 5. He is only concerned with his tenuous grasp of power. He called an unnecessary election in 2008 and failed to gain a majority.

Mr. Harper has totally alienated Quebec, with Mr. Baird's help he has alienated much of Ontario. Mr. Goodyear's dismal performance has alienated the educational and scientific community. The longer he stays in office, the fewer supporters he will have at the time of the next election.
